The greatest incentive by far that lures illegal aliens from Mexico
is employment. Because these people are coming from extreme poverty,
they are willing to work for much less pay than the average
American. Many employers in the United States take advantage of
this, getting very cheap labor out of these illegal immigrants. As
long as this act of illegal hiring is allowed to continue, America
will have a problem with illegal immigration.
As jobs continue to disappear, the Federal Government continues to
import 125,000 guest workers every month. 50 percent of illegal
aliens here in the United States are ex-guest workers who choose to
stay here after their visas expire. Our government not only does
nothing to stop this, but many elected officials are seeking to
grant these illegals amnesty. Guest/foreign program needs to be
stopped, and governments at all levels , (federal, state, and local)
need to enforce the law and fine and prosecute all employers
(including CEO's of corporations) who hire illegals. This would stop
almost 100 percent of illegal immigration in the United States, not
to mention give our economy a great boost.
For employers who wish to verify the legal status of potential
employees, the Social Security Administration offers a free employee
verification service. The service verifies the social security
numbers (SSN) for up to 5 employees. Call toll-free
1-800-772-6270, weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST. You
will be asked for your company name and employer identification
number (EIN). You must also provide the information below for each
name/SSN which you want to verify:
SSN
Last Name
First Name
Middle Initial
Date Of Birth
Gender
If you are aware of an employer who employs illegal aliens, call the
IRS and supply them with as much information as possible about both
the employer and the illegals.
After reporting to the IRS, call the INS and report the employer who
you suspect is hiring illegal aliens. You can also report illegal
aliens seperately. It is best to provide the INS with as much
information as possible
